We are the Spirit of America

We came to the New World to escape religious persecution and the arbitrary power of potentates and princes. We were inspired by the concept of freedom. We fought a king who sought to subordinate this new nation. When we declared independence, our voice was clear and direct:


"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

We won the war against the king who wanted this to be a lesser nation. That battle birthed a home for freedom, democracy and the rights of all people under a Constitution that would guarantee all who are a part of this nation equality under the law.

"We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

We have enjoyed the gift of this liberty ever since and we will not tolerate any diminution of the creed and cause that has secured a multitude of blessings upon this nation. We will breach no tampering with our law to accommodate any rule, which would diminish the freedoms for which so many have sacrificed their lives. Indeed, for the many now who battle oppression that has brought harm to this and to other freedom loving nations of the world.

We reject any notion or any code or set of rules that promulgates the supremacy of any religion over the rule of law.

We reject any system that threatens death to those who, in expressing their right of free speech, are claimed to have insulted Islam. First Amendment - free speech.

We reject any system that subordinates women, turning them into virtual slaves. Nineteenth Amendment - women rights.

We reject any system that condones the beating of women and girls, whipping, stoning, behanding or beheading. Eighth Amendment - no cruel and unusual punishment.

We reject any system that condones the murder of anyone who leaves any religious group for any reason. First Amendment - freedom of religion.

We reject any system that fixes an inferior status to anyone outside that system.

We reject any system that allows members of one group to deceive or lie to other groups to further itself.

Therefore, we refuse to accept any inclusion of Shariah Law into the laws of this nation. We are one nation with one law for all. Let Freedom Reign.
