Democracy Under Attack Issues
Examples of specific threats:
- The anti-Israel pro-Palestinian Sabeel conferences at churches and on
college campuses across the USA.
- US government grants to institutions of higher learning that are designed
to sensitize instructors on the subject of Islam by teaching a pro-Arab/Islam, anti-Western world view,
- The plan announced by President Bush that is allowing Saudi Arabia to fund
15,000 Saudi students attending US universities. (Saudi Arabia pays $32,000 out of state tuition per student
to tax-supported universities that have actively solicited these arrangements. IMRA has reported that these
students have not had background checks. Since 15 of the 19 hijackers of 9-11-2001 came from Saudi Arabia, a
plan to monitor these students' progress should be in place.)
- Islamic studies increasingly authorized in our nation's public schools
to promote Islam with no mention of extremist radical ideology
- Spread of radical Islam in the prison system,
- Financing by Saudi Arabia of pro-Arab, anti-American college courses
taught by indoctrinated professors,
- 80% of US mosques built with money from the Saudis, staffed by Radical Imams (clergy) who incite hatred and preach violence against Christians, Jews and America.
- Out of 139 suicide bombers attacking our troops in Iraq, the greatest number come from Saudi Arabia, with a total of 53 (almost half the total). How should this affect the US policy, now being promoted, that would authorize $20,000,000,000 ($20 billion) of military aide to Saudi Arabia? Should Saudi Arabia be forced to eliminate this danger to our troops? (source: Newsweek Magazine, August 2, 2007 - The Bombers: A Breakdown. Adapted from "Suicide Bombers in Iraq" by Mohammed M. Hafez)
Democracy is under attack by radical Islamofascism. The 3 issues we are currently addressing:
