About Our Founder


As Founder in 1991 and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Unity Coalition for Israel, Esther Levens has brought together more than 200 organizations to educate Americans and others about the Middle East.

This Coalition, representing millions of people, has served as a clearinghouse for information on Israel and the history and culture of the 22 Arab nations surrounding it.

She has overseen a broad educational outreach to all segments of grassroots America by communicating with the secular and religious media, college campuses, U.S. Executive branch including key Cabinet Members, the U.S. Congress, Israeli Knesset and other government officials.

She has coordinated seven major conferences in Washington, featuring experts on the Middle East. She twice hosted the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu during his term of office, holding two Breakfasts honoring him that attracted more than 3,000 people on each occasion. The UCI co-sponsored the First Jerusalem Summit, a newly formed international think-tank. She has sponsored numerous press conferences on Capitol Hill, at the National Press Club, and at the National Religious Broadcasters annual conventions, the most recent one on February 14, 2005. On May 4, 2005, UCI co-sponsored for the fourth year, the annual Embassy of Israel Solidarity Seminar in Washington, DC. She has been a co-sponsor for five years of the annual pro-Israel KC Gathering.

She has been appointed by Presidents George W. Bush, Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon to serve on three U.S. Presidential Advisory Councils:
